glacier KAKE

Hey dude and dudettes
I've been thinking about the project, and while I love love LOVE the idea of a glacier cake and everything, I'm afraid that's its not serious enough for our assigned audience or our teachers in general. I'd like to keep the cake idea for sure but I think there needs to be more to it. I'll look stuff up, but do you guys have more ideas or suggestions or anthing you disagree with?? I'm also writing the manefesto tonight and I'll hopefully have it emailed to you tonight or tomorrow, but feel free to email me changes, suggestions, additions....subtractions(?)!

Kelsey, I do agree about the cake idea. It sounds cool but I'm wondering if it's deep enough for our concept. How do we want people to feel about the situation?

Maybe this could go in collaboration of another idea. Our budget of $10,000 is something we can work with.

i'm down for meeting monday night b/c i have class all day until 7. but who was making the cake anyway? maybe we can give people cups of water and then say when the glaciers melt you get this much more water so then you get another cup. it can be like the cigarette commercials where they line up bodies or something. instead, ours will be with red cups filled with "glacier water" and then eventually everyone's desk will be filled with cups of water?
i don't know. im working on a 5 page paper right now.
any other ideas?

I've been out of town all weekend and I just spent over 12 hours on campus today. I'm groggy but I'll definitely look into the water cup idea. I'm hoping that the message is clear enough when we present. Let me know of any changes, I'll be available until 10-11 am but the sooner, the better.
